So --- here I am at 40 weeks. Please note this picture was taken BEFORE my doctor appointment this morning. Hence the happy face. :)
My due date is Monday but unfortunately I am not at all progressing toward labor. My doctor scheduled an induction for NEXT weekend thinking that I won't naturally go into labor before that. Apparently Keller is very comfy where he is and not ready to do anything any time soon! It's a little frustrating because of course I would like to go into labor on my own, but this may just be the way it is!

Sorry, my first comment made no sense so I deleted it. What I was trying to say is don't be discouraged: I've never met anyone whose IDEA of how labor and delivery will go and how things ACTUALLY play out line up exactly (including myself). Hang in there and know that we're praying for you - for peace and calm, strength, endurance, joy, comfort, and especially for a quick and easy delivery!
You look great - how do you do it?!
Sidenote: if you are planning to have an epidural, be sure to ask that they give it to you shortly after (or before!) they induce you with the pitocin... :)
