"Hey Grandma ... "

So many possible captions for this picture...

"Hey Grandma... how many milk jugs did you have to knock over at the carnival to win that giant stuffed animal?"

"Hey Grandma... does Paramount Pictures know you stole the Curious Case of Benjamin Button?"

"Hey Grandma... how hard was it to hijack one of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade floats?"

"Hey Grandma... how does Grandpa feel about you embracing another grown man?"

"Hey Grandma... if I were you, I'd lose the Empire State Building costume because King Kong is looking a little bit rowdy."

"Hey Grandma... Look! Our kid is recession proof - he hasn't dropped below the 100th percentile!"

"Hey Grandma... I thought we talked about feeding the animals."

"Hey Grandma...  if you hold reeeaal still... you'll probably pass out before he can hurt you."

Best Laughter Yet

The real treat here was what Beth was doing in order to get him to laugh so hard. Unfortunately I wasn't able to capture that.... this time.....

30 Seconds of Monkey Business

what? can't a dude hang out with his best friend without everybody whipping out their cameras?

Christmas @ The Johnson's

We flew north for Christmas week to see my whole side of the fam. It was a lot of fun since the last time we were all together was 3 years ago. My brother Brandon and his wife Rachel were back from South Africa where they've been for 2.5 years - and Ryan was down from Chicago.

Brandon came down to the airport with Dad to pick us up. Keller did really well on his first flight.

There were a couple hundred thousand people without power because of the ice storms in Ft. Wayne. Luckily mom & dad's came back on while we were on our way from the airport. It was awesome to see snow again.
Here's Keller clowning around with Brandon at Coney Island.

Yes you are, son.... yes you are.

Fun family portrait.

Mom got him an Exersaucer for their house and he ate it up.

We were able to get pictures with all four great-grandparents.  Here are my Grandpa & Grandma Johnson.

And mom's side of the tree with all of us.

We had a great time. View our whole photo gallery here.

Kristmas @ The Keller's

Here are some quick pictures and a video from our Christmas time at Beth's parent's house. We had a great time with them before heading up to Indiana. Keller loved opening his first presents as you will soon see.

Here he is with his attention quickly shifting from one toy to the next.

I took the picture of Keller's cousin Zoe (right) just last year. Grandma posed him just the same this Christmas (left).

6 month appointment

On December 10th we had Keller's 6 month appointment. He's healthy - everything is great. He weighs 19 lbs 10 oz which is the 90th percentile. He is 28 and 3/4 inches long and that is over the 100th percentile. We didn't realize that kids could be over the 100th percentile so when we asked the doctor he said Keller is basically the same size as an 11 month old.

Here's a little pic of us cuddling.
